Marnong Estate are seeking an experienced and motivated Full Time Accommodation & Hospitality Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our accommodation and hospitality services. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, smooth running of facilities, and effective management of staff.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, highly organised, and committed to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of accommodation, front office, housekeeping, and guest services.
- Manage hospitality services including food & beverage, events, and guest experiences.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service standards.
- Monitor budgets, costs, and inventory, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and compliance standards across all departments.
- Develop and improve policies, procedures, and guest service strategies.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Collaborate with senior management to report on performance, staffing, and business opportunities.
- Curate and enhance wine service offerings, including developing wine lists, hosting tastings, and creating wine-focused experiences for guests
Skills & Attributes Required
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities with a guest-centric mindset
- Financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Calm under pressure with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience with POS systems, booking platforms and hospitality software
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related discipline (highly regarded)
- RSA certification (required)
- Minimum 3 years' management experience within the hospitality sector
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and strong operational results
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), booking platforms, and hospitality technology
- Sommelier experience highly regarded
