Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Indian Cuisine Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indian culinary traditions and a flair for creating innovative dishes. A minimum of

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, and desserts.
• Develop and plan menus, ensuring a balance between traditional Indian flavours and modern dietary trends.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
• Collaborate with management to create seasonal and special event menus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef.
• Relevant culinary qualifications are desired with at least Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, preferably an additional Diploma/Advanced Diploma of Hospitality.
• Minimum of two years of work experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
• Strong understanding and knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
