You will make an impact by

• Delivering high-quality, family-centred care that supports the health, development and wellbeing of children aged 0–6.
• Building trusted relationships with families, offering guidance and support through key developmental stages and life challenges.
• Identifying and responding to complex needs including mental health, family violence, and child safety concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure wraparound support and optimal outcomes for families.
• Leading and participating in community education initiatives that promote health, resilience and connection across the municipality.

What You Will Bring

• Registration with AHPRA as a General Nurse and Midwife.
• Qualification as a Maternal and Child Health Nurse.
• Desirable minimum 2 years' experience in the MCH sector, with demonstrated ability to support vulnerable and diverse families within an outreach setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge of child development, behaviour and family dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and culturally safe practice.
• Commitment to working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to assess risk and respond appropriately, including mandatory reporting.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
