About the Role

A major ERP transformation program is underway to modernise legacy systems and migrate from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA in a secure cloud environment. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Data Stream Lead to oversee the delivery of the SAP data stream within this strategic initiative.

This role is critical to improving data quality, streamlining business processes, and enabling better decision-making through enhanced reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the SAP data stream aligned with business objectives and data governance.
  • Oversee data migration, cleansing, and quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with government data security and privacy policies.
  • Drive development and acceptance of data deliverables.
  • Manage risks, issues, and change activities related to data processes.
  • Support procurement and vendor management for data tools and services.

About You You are a seasoned project manager with deep experience in SAP data workstreams, particularly ECC to S/4HANA conversions. You bring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and technical expertise in data architecture and governance.

Selection Criteria

  • Proven experience in SAP data stream leadership, ideally in ECC to S/4HANA transitions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data lifecycle and governance.
  • Certified in project management (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
  • Skilled in data tools (SAP Data Services, Informatica, SQL) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in change management and benefits realisation.

Contract Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: 30 June 2026 (with possible extension)
  • Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Eligibility: Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or NZ Citizen
  • Checks: National Police Check, Baseline Security Clearance, 2 References
