The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Account Manager preferably with a background in Building Services/Construction Sales. We are seeking someone with the passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional service to clients. Reporting to the Sales Manager (VIC) and working closely with a supportive, tight-knit team, this role offers the opportunity to manage a well-established client portfolio while also driving new business opportunities and growth. If you're looking to grow and develop your sales career within the construction industry — this is your chance.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in account management or construction industry sales
  • Existing builder relationships (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A commercially minded, organised, and results-driven approach
  • Pride in your presentation, service, and follow-through

Your role will see you:

  • Manage and grow builder relationships across Victoria
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Work closely with operations and leadership to deliver project outcomes
  • Report, forecast, and manage your sales pipeline to drive results

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships across your portfolio
  • Conduct regular client visits across office and site locations
  • Prepare and present professional client proposals and quotations
  • Manage client communications throughout negotiation and delivery
  • Accurately maintain data in the Buildsafe CRM
  • Collaborate across departments to troubleshoot and problem-solve
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Achieve set KPI and sales targets
