UBS is excited to offer an opportunity for a Desktop Project Coordinator to join our supportive team in Willawong where you'll manage small domestic insurance repair building projects.

About the Role

This full-time administrative role involves coordinating repairs and maintenance for residential homes affected by insurable events. You'll work closely with Project Managers, internal claims coordinators, subcontractors, property owners, and insurance companies to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of repairs. To succeed in this position, you must be a team player with good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the progress of repairs for claims under $20,000 from the office
  • Determine and appoint the appropriate Internal trades and subcontractors to complete building repairs
  • Liaise with trade personnel regarding the scope repairs required.
  • Place work orders with trades and subcontractors
  • Scheduling of trades and subcontractors to ensure KPI's are met
  • Manage the expenditure of each and every claim
  • Organise Makesafes, and Inspect & Reports as required
  • Complete updates and variation as may be require on each repair for the Insurer
  • Regular communication with Customers to keep them informed of repair
  • Work closely with Insurance Companies and provide formal updates
  • Update Internal and External claims management databases, recording progress and completion.
  • Provide support to other team members as required

  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to respond to customers with a positive approach and ability to find solutions for all parties.
  • Confident, friendly and the ability to work without supervision, as well as in a team environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised and efficient managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience working in a insurance or have a trade background would be desirable but not essential.

To be the successful you have or be willing to obtain the following:


• Driver Licence (100 points identification)


• Current Clear National Police
