Your new role

As the FSR, this role is well suited to those with experience working as an Automotive or Marine mechanics/fitters, looking to broaden their experiences. You will be joining a team supporting a major Defence Sustainment Contract, within an organisation at an excellent point of growth across Australia.

You'll carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on cutting-edge Defence equipment across both workshop and field environments.

Enjoy access to all tools, equipment, and ongoing specialist training-plus the chance to contribute to high-impact Commonwealth projects.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Must be Australian Citizen with an ability to obtain a security clearance (this will be sponsored by the employer).
  • Prior experience coordinating, managing and delivering planned maintenance & routine maintenance on versitile machinery such as mechanical or electrical.
  • Qualified Technician in a relevant area such as Mechanic or Electrical.
  • Drivers license - must have.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to engage defence personnel and customers, alongside global company stakeholders as your progress in the business.
  • Someone motivated to lay roots and grow within an expanding organisation, and is exited about working on innovative defence products.
