Field Services Representative

Your Role:

As a Field Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing Subject Matter Expert advice on engines, avionics and military systems that require engineering approval.

You will also have accountability for:

·       The provision of AOG support that delivers maintenance and trouble-shooting advice to the customer

·       The provision of continuous training to maintenance to personnel when requested

·       The provision of away base assistance to facilitate the maintenance and repair of aircrafts

·       The provision of assistance in resolving the aircrafts parts shortages and/or provisioning issues

·       Assisting in reducing nil fault found occurrences

·       Assisting in drafting technical instructions and/or procedures

·       Provision of clarification for the aircraft systems and maintenance procedures within delegated authority

·       Identifying and recommending alternative tooling and support equipment

·       Developing, recommending and reporting on corrective actions taken to maximise aircraft system operational capability, availability, readiness, safety and longevity

About You:

·       The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1 and ASIC requirements

·       Extensive C27-J or equivalent flight-line troubleshooting experience, preferably within mainline operations

·       A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Certifying staff member

·       A minimum of 10 years aviation maintenance experience

·       A minimum of 3 years' experience on Airlift type aircraft

·       Demonstrated working knowledge of DASR regulations

·       Project Management qualifications

·       Ability to teach and mentor

·       Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a multi-disciplinary team

·       Strong technical and problem-solving skills
