Overview

EPE is a veteran-owned Australian company partnering with over 20 Commonwealth agencies to deliver specialist capability, training, through-life support and project management. We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Field Service Representative (FSR) to deliver high-quality Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services in support of defence clients across Australia, with potential work in New Zealand and South-East Asia. The role provides on-site technical expertise, support, and training to ensure the operational readiness and sustainment of advanced defence systems and equipment. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires initiative, strong problem-solving ability, and willingness to travel in dynamic defence environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repair and calibration of EPE-supplied equipment both in-house and at client sites.
  • Provide technical advice, training, and ongoing support to customers.
  • Report on maintenance activities accurately and on time.
  • Maintain current knowledge of maintenance processes, OEM updates, and technical bulletins.
  • Obtain and maintain required qualifications, licenses, and security clearances.
  • Support EPE's activities across Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia as needed.
  • Represent EPE at conferences, demonstrations, trials, and client engagements.
  • Adhere to EPE's Values, Quality, WHS and the ADF Technical Regulatory Framework.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Recognised qualification in electronics or communications.
  • Australian Citizen with a checkable background (eligible for NV1 AGSVA security clearance).
  • Current Australian Passport and Queensland driver's license.
  • High-level competency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated skills in soldering, use of test equipment, and maintenance of electronic/communications/computer technologies.
  • EIT (Test and Tag).
  • Remote Pilot License (RePL).
  • Experience with CMMS (e.g., FiiX) and/or Integrated Logistic Support (ILS).
Personal Attributes
  • Strong problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills.
  • High level of written and verbal communication ability.
  • Comfortable working autonomously or within a team.
  • Able to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international).
  • Flexible to provide out-of-hours support when required.
