Role Description

The Marketing Assistant - Content & Campaigns role is responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns including coordinating content development, producing multimedia assets, managing influencer relationships, creating event content, and maintaining digital assets. This position blends content creation, design, production, and campaign support, contributing to both digital and traditional marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:
    Contribute to written and visual content for campaign and event materials such as eDMs, blog posts, marketing collateral, and internal communications.
  • Creative Content Production:
    Assist in producing engaging digital and print materials, including visuals and branded assets.
  • Multimedia Production:
    Oversee scoping, storyboarding, production, post-production, and packaging for digital media content.
  • Campaign Support & Execution:
    Assist in the development and delivery of strategic marketing campaigns across print and digital platforms.
  • Event Content Creation:
    Develop written content before, during, and after events to maximize social engagement.
  • Idea Generation & Concept Development:
    Contribute ideas for creative campaigns, advertising strategies, and content that aligns with audience needs.
  • Digital Asset Management:
    Maintain and organize digital asset libraries, including images and videos.
  • Social Media Coordination:
    Develop content, maintain a monthly content calendar, liaise with the social media agency, and handle ad hoc organic posting.
  • Influencer Marketing:
    Coordinate influencer marketing initiatives and identify emerging talent for partnerships.

Skills

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles and enthusiasm for the marketing field.
  • Strong proficiency in content creation and digital asset management.
  • Experience in Social Media Management and performance reporting.
  • Excellent copywriting, editorial, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and coordinate with external suppliers.
  • Knowledge of branding principles and campaign strategy development.
