The Crushing and Screening Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of all hands-on aspects of the operations of this 24-hour site.This role requires a deep understanding of crushing and screening operations, as well as strong project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure project success.
• Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations to create a safe working environment.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions and delays.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and adhere to company and industry specifications.
• Cost Control: Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible to maintain project profitability.
• Project Reporting: Provide regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Current & Valid Manual Driver's License.
• National Police Clearance (validity dependant on site)
• Qualification in Business, Management or QM Ticket (highly desirable)
• 3+ years as a Project Manager within a crushing and screening environment
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Experience required:

• Relevant qualifications (or experience) or trade background and supervisory experience
• Previous experience in the mining or mobile crushing industry
• Commercial acumen and computer literacy
• Drive and commitment with a high attention to detail
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Establishing strong client relationships and managing those relationships on a daily basis
• Providing strong, effective leadership to all site personnel including daily management roster staff
• Identifying employee training needs and performance management
• Coordinate maintenance by implementing and managing a tailored scheduled maintenance program
• Developing and managing site specific systems and procedures.
• Recruitment and managing rostering of employees
• Incident reporting and investigation
• Managing site purchases and using purchasing system (PRONTO)
