About the Company:

Rapid Crushing & Screening Contractors Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company with over 46 years of experience in the business of providing service and support to the civil contracting, mining and resource industries.

The Role:

The successful applicant, who will report to the Site Manager, will need to demonstrate the ability to supervise a small team involved in crushing and screening operations on a 2/1 FIFO roster ex Perth.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Complete the required inspections, audits and HSE reports;

  • Complete daily reports and submit in a timely manner;

  • Schedule, plan and perform maintenance activities;

  • Monitor and maintain stock levels;

  • Ensure the crushing plant operates to the maximum output capacity;

  • Actively supervise all employees and sub-contractors on site;

  • Conduct internal training when required;

  • Operating ROM Front End Loader as and when required.

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 2-3 years "hands on" Supervisory experience in mine site/quarry/mobile crushing operations;

  • Mobile Plant and/or Trade Qualified;

  • Have demonstrated strong problem solving skills and excellent communication skills

  • WHS Statutory Responsibilities for Mining Supervisors (SRMS)

  • National Police Clearance within the last 12 month's

  • Construction White Card

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (desirable);

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).

  • Conduct Front End Loader / Skidsteer Operations

  • High Risk Work Licenses DG RB C6
