About the role
We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Leading Hand to join our dynamic team at Salt Airconditioning Pty Ltd in Kingscliff, NSW. As the Air Conditioning Installation Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation of high-quality air conditioning systems, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards and well as carrying out the installations and owning the job. This is a full-time position based in our Kingscliff region.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate and work along side a team of air conditioning technicians to install and commission air conditioning systems
- Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety requirements
- Provide on-site guidance and support to the installation team, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Liaise with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery
- Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the installation process
- Ident opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to management
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience (5+ years) as an air conditioning installation technician, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
- Refrigerant Handling Licence and relevant trade qualifications in air conditioning and refrigeration
- Excellent understanding of air conditioning systems, installation methods and commissioning procedures
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and the installation team
- Commitment to safety and quality, with a focus on continuous improvement
