Air Conditioning Technician ( Mechanic )

Location: Gold Coast

Position: Full-time

Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per annum

About the Role

Synergy Airconditioning is seeking a qualified full-time Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Gold Coast. This role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial, commercial, and domestic air-conditioning systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will:

· Install, service, and repairs to residential and commercial air conditioning systems

· Replace defective components and record all maintenance and repair actions.

· Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance

· Check and connect equipment, ensuring alignment and accuracy of fit

· Adjusting system controls and mechanisms as required

· Communicate clearly with clients and provide top-tier customer service

· Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards

· Conduct leak testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and performance testing on systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Licensing as required in Queensland
  • Valid driver's licence
