The Role

Smarter Air & Electrical is looking for a driven and physically capable Ducted AC Site Assessor & Sales Specialist to join our team. This is a unique position that combines on-site inspection with consultative sales. You will be the face of Smarter Air for new installations and upgrades, ensuring every project is perfectly planned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site inspections for ducted air conditioning systems, including accessing roof spaces to assess site suitability and measure for new installations. Physical fitness for this task is essential.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to clients, providing expert advice on the best air conditioning, electrical, and smart home solutions for their homes.
  • Identify and sell additional products and services, such as security systems, smart home solutions, electrical upgrades, and other comfort systems, to meet the full needs of the customer.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate quotes and proposals for new projects.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and our internal team throughout the sales process.
About You
  • Proven Sales Experience: You are process driven, goal oriented, and have a meticulous eye for detail. You have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with an ability to sell multiple product categories.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You can build rapport with customers and clearly explain technical information in a simple way.
  • Physically Capable: You are comfortable and able to safely access roof spaces and other confined areas.
  • Technical Aptitude: Experience in the HVAC, electrical, security, or a related trade is a strong advantage.
  • Customer-Focused: You are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience, from the first interaction to a completed sale.
