Position Overview
We are seeking a persuasive and analytical writer who can transform complex data and research into compelling, high-quality documents. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing strong, winning grant and tender applications, as well as business reports and strategic documents that clearly demonstrate value, impact, and compliance with funding requirements.
This role requires someone who is not only skilled in research and analysis but also a storyteller—able to create persuasive narratives that resonate with evaluators, stakeholders, and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyse business, industry, and economic data to identify trends and insights.
- Draft, edit, and finalise persuasive grant and tender applications, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines.
- Develop strong evidence-based business cases, proposals, and reports tailored to client and funding body requirements.
- Simplify technical or complex information into clear, engaging narratives.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather inputs and ensure accuracy.
- Manage multiple deadlines, ensuring timely and professional deliverables.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional written communication skills with a talent for persuasive and impactful writing.
- Strong ability to develop logical, evidence-backed arguments.
- Proficiency in research, data interpretation, and presenting findings in a compelling manner.
- Ability to adapt writing style to suit diverse audiences, from technical experts to funding assessors.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Familiarity with grant and tender processes (highly desirable).
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Communications, Business, Economics, Public Relations, Law or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in persuasive writing, research, or business analysis.
- Prior experience in grant writing, tender submissions, or consulting services will be highly regarded.
- Track record of producing high-quality, impactful documents under tight timeframes.
