About the Role:

The role of the Client Service Officer is to undertake the full range of client servicing activities as well as providing support to the Financial Advisers. You will work collaboratively with our Client Services team to provide a high level of service and support to the Adviser team and their clients. You will be fundamental in providing an ongoing service to a portfolio of clients, and assisting our Advisers with the implementation of new business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage client workflow and queries, responding in a timely manner to deliver value and service

  • Establish and maintain strong client and key stakeholder partnerships

  • Assist advisers with data collection and information gathering as required

  • Adhere to all processes and procedures

  • Document and maintain client records in accordance with compliance obligations , and provide administrative assistance where required

  • Prepare client paperwork and reports with a high level of accuracy

  • Actively manage the FDS and Fee Consent process with clients

  • New Business Implementation

  • Claims Management

  • Management of Annual Review process

  • Participate in ad-hoc project work as required

Experience and Skills:

  • 1-2 years experience in an administration or client services position is preferable. Experience in a financial planning practice advantageous, but not essential

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite & Adobe Pro

  • Previous experience with XPlan or similar financial planning software desirable but not essential

  • A high level of client service skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
