Our client is a global business who are leaders in the education market. With a reputation for excellence within their industry, they have recently gone through an exciting growth phase and are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their large team.
The Role
This position will report into the Payroll Manager and Payroll Team Lead and is responsible for:
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, leave accruals, salary changes, and tax declarations.
- Calculate and process employee entitlements including leave, overtime, allowances, bonuses, and terminations.
Candidate Profile
You will have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in a payroll role
- Proven Ascender Pay experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong MS Excel numeracy skills
