Our client is a global business who are leaders in the education market. With a reputation for excellence within their industry, they have recently gone through an exciting growth phase and are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their large team.
The Role: This position will report into the Payroll Manager and Payroll Team Lead and is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and related activities.
Responsibilities- Administer and process end-to-end payroll on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis using payroll systems such as Ascender Pay (Dayforce/Ceridian).
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, leave accruals, salary changes, and tax declarations.
- Calculate and process employee entitlements including leave, overtime, allowances, bonuses, and terminations.
- Previous experience in a payroll role
- Proven Ascender Pay experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong MS Excel numeracy skills
