- Support the coordination of workplace investigations, including information gathering, documentation, and stakeholder liaison.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to ensure smooth recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
- Contribute to the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and frameworks across the organisation.
- Track and report key people metrics such as turnover, probation completion, and case management trends.
- Build trusted, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver proactive and solution-focused people support.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned to WorkCover Queensland's values and People Frameworks.
- Support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to transformation priorities within the People Division.
About You
You're an experienced HR Advisor who enjoys delivering practical, high-quality HR solutions. Confident managing a range of employee matters, you bring sound judgment, empathy, and professionalism to every interaction. You thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and supporting a workplace culture grounded in fairness, respect, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong understanding of contemporary HR principles, employment law, and people practices.
- Ability to provide clear, consistent, and practical advice to leaders and employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organisation.
- Proven experience managing or supporting employee case management and workplace investigations.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- Commitment to confidentiality, ethical decision-making, and equitable treatment.
- Experience delivering effective HR services in a complex or changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks and compliance considerations in day-to-day work.
- Experience maintaining accurate HR documentation, records, and reporting.
- Proficiency with HR systems and tools to support efficient and compliant processes.
- Tertiary qualification (or progress toward qualification) in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
