As our People & Culture Advisor, you'll get to do meaningful, hands-on work across the full employee lifecycle. You'll partner with great leaders, support our teams on the ground, and help shape how our people experience work — from recruitment and onboarding to wellbeing, development, and everything in between.

You'll be part of a small, supportive P&C team who genuinely care about supporting our people to do their best work.

What you'll do
  • Partner with managers to find and onboard great people who live our values.
  • Be the go-to for practical HR advice (minus the jargon).
  • Support and mentor our People & Culture Administrator as they grow.
  • Help leaders navigate performance, wellbeing, and ER matters with confidence and care.
  • Keep our systems, records, and processes tidy and compliant.
  • Provide clear, easy-to-understand guidance on payroll changes, awards, and legislation.
  • Roll up your sleeves on P&C projects that make work better for everyone - there are a few in the pipeline for 2026

What you'll bring
  • 2 - 3 years in a generalist or advisory HR role (bonus points if it's in a blue-collar or mining environment)
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and award interpretation
  • A knack for simplifying complex things — and explaining them in plain English
  • The confidence to work with everyone from site supervisors to senior leaders
  • A curious, solutions-focused mindset and great attention to detail
  • Communication skills that are clear, human, and real
  • The highest level of discretion and professionalism (because trust matters)
  • The right to work in Australia
