The Role
As our Precontracts team continues to expand, Unyte are looking to appoint a Bid Manager / Project Manager.
This is a precontracts-driven role; Slotting into an experienced and dynamic precontracts team, you will help take the lead on key bids and submissions.
Based in our HQ, you will enjoy a flourishing culture, as well as opportunities for progression as we continue to expand.
Your Every Day
- Lead and manage tender submissions including strategy development, team coordination, risk assessment, constructability and final review to ensure high-quality, competitive bids.
- Collaborate across departments (Precontracts, Delivery, Commercial, Procurement) to align bid content with pricing, contract terms, and project requirements.
- Engage in post-tender activities such as client negotiations, presentations, clarifications, and handover documentation to support successful project initiation.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to internal bid processes and systems.
- Foster team culture and development through mentoring, contributing to team initiatives, and promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Who are you?
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum of 7+ years' experience across civil engineering.
- Effective communication with clients, consultants' management & on-site personnel.
- Previous experience in delivery / bid settings.
- Proven track record converting key bids into won work.
