West & North West ESA
This role operates across the West and North West Tasmania Employment Services Area (ESA), with key locations in Burnieand Devonport, and outreach services extending to surrounding regional and rural communities, including the North West Coast, Central Highlands, and West Coastregions.
What You'll Do
As the Administration Officer in the IEA program, you'll be the welcoming face of CVGT across your ESA, helping to create a respectful, inclusive, and well-organised environment for all who connect with our services. Your empathy, attention to detail, and commitment to service excellence will help ensure participants feel supported and valued. You'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day operations, ensuring the site functions efficiently for staff, visitors, and the community.
- Front of House Excellence: Provide a warm, professional welcome to everyone entering the site. Assist visitors as needed, manage incoming calls, and deliver responsive customer service tailored to individual needs.
- Administrative Efficiency: Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including appointment and calendar coordination, petty cash handling, purchase orders, and mail management.
- Operational Support: Support the wider team with scheduling, documentation, and reporting for participants, ensuring records are well-organised, accurate, and completed promptly.
- Event Coordination: Assist with planning and organising job clubs, employer events, and training sessions.
What You Bring
- Qualifications:Certificate III in Business Administration is highly regarded.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a fast-paced, customer-facing administrative role, with proven ability to manage competing priorities efficiently and professionally.
- Professional Strengths:Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, paired with empathy, adaptability, and a strong people-centred approach.
- Tech Savvy:Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
- Pre-Requisites: Full eligibility to work in Australia, with the ability to travel locally and obtain a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and/or Vulnerable Persons Check.
