Key Responsibilities:
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Develop and execute a sustainable growth strategy for the assigned region.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring expectations are met and issues are proactively resolved.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across business units.
Support product and sales specialists through joint customer engagements and sales calls.
Champion first-class customer service by leveraging feedback from the Weir Customer Experience Program and driving continuous improvement.
Lead and coach high-performing teams through clear expectations, succession planning, and structured performance development.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Hold a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical training
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage remote teams and present confidently to diverse audiences
Proven experience in hard rock mining environments; prior work in PNG or mining operations within PNG is highly desirable
Skilled in interpreting technical and regulatory documentation and solving complex problems using sound reasoning
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is advantageous
Willingness to travel frequently, including to remote locations via non-standard transport, and work in varied environments including mine sites with appropriate PPE
