Sales Administration Clerk – Automotive Dealership

Location: Mildura, VIC

Employment Type: Full-Time

Davison Motors is a multi-award-winning, family-owned dealership with a strong reputation for excellence in customer service and operational performance. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Sales Administration Clerk to join our high-performing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where previous experience is not necessary – full training will be provided. If you're organised, have a team-oriented work ethic, and want to support a business known for success, this role could be for you.


Key Responsibilities

Stock Control & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for all new and used vehicle stock.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound inventory movements, ensuring timely arrival and processing.
  • Monitor scheduled arrivals from manufacturers and maintain real-time stock control systems.
  • Allocate vehicles for retail sales orders and coordinate new and used vehicles into inventory.
  • Liaise with manufacturers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.

Administration & Compliance

  • Process wholesale vehicle ordering and invoicing with manufacturers.
  • Complete VIC (VicRoads) and NSW (RMS) vehicle registrations for new and used vehicles.
  • Organise freight to and from the dealership as required.
  • Maintain keys, service books, and owners' manuals for all vehicles.

Reporting & Online Presence

  • Maintain inventory stock reporting for management and manufacturers.
  • Prepare monthly retail delivery reporting and internal inventory updates.
  • Conduct online vehicle listing audits across dealership channels to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer literacy; confidence with Microsoft Office is ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
  • A proactive and reliable approach to supporting the dealership's success.

No prior dealership or automotive experience is required – full on-the-job training will be provided.
