**About the Role**
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the focus of this role will be to lead, grow and drive continual improvement through coaching, mentoring and the identification of process improvements across the transaction team.
The duties and responsibilities of the Transaction Services Manager will include, but are not limited to:
- Management of the Accounts Receivable and Finance Clerk teams including training, mentoring, development and recruitment
- Lead and manage the continuous review of processes and procedures to identify, recommend and implement improvements
- Monitor, develop and maintain policy and procedure documents
- Ensure all transactions are processed efficiently and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures and monitoring workflow to identify and address bottlenecks
- Act as the point person for escalations in relation to debtor processing (i.e. invoicing and receipting queries, debtor enquiries, follow-up of unpaid balances)
- Accountable for the reporting and communication related to overdue debts, providing insights to senior management to inform decision-making
- Liaising with internal IT stakeholders to ensure any system updates or changes are understood and appropriately integrate into downstream finance transactional tasks
- Maintaining open communication with the Finance Manager and other key stakeholders
**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated and capable of managing the transactions accounting teams.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience in a transaction / shared service management role across Accounts Receivable and general bookkeeping functions
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading teams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in a business with a high volume of transactions
- Experienced in accounting software systems
- Completion and maintenance of process documentation and provided coaching and training of tasks to team members
**Skills & Knowledge**:
- Strong knowledge of accounting debits and credits related to accounts receivable-type transactions
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legal and compliance obligations for Accounts Receivable activities
- High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
