Full time

LSC Homes is currently seeking an estimator who is passionate about joining our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Basic estimating quantities of building material
  • Get quotations from subcontractors
  • Preparation of new contracts and home specifications
  • Preparation invoices, quotes, and variation orders to clients using Xero
  • Liaison with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal procurement team to negotiate pricing
  • Reviewing client requirements for a project
  • Working with the delivery team to prepare proposals
  • Analyzing and evaluate offers and inputting cost data into spreadsheets
  • Presenting cost estimates to Senior Management and Project Managers
  • Briefing Senior Management and Project Managers on risk aspects of individual tenders

Who are we looking for?

  • English speaking
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in residential home building industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Databuild experience preferred.
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
