We are in search of a Project Support Officer (Infrastructure Services) for a contract role until March 2027. In this role, you will undertake research, analysis and evaluation to support business improvements and administration of the department's infrastructure and asset management programs.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the planning, delivery and improvement of infrastructure and asset-related services across the organisation.
  • Provide professional advice and support to leaders and stakeholders on facilities, asset management, and service planning matters.
  • Assist in the development and review of policies, programs, and processes that ensure effective infrastructure outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to achieve service delivery goals.
  • Prepare reports, briefings and documentation to support infrastructure planning and decision-making.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in infrastructure services, facilities planning, or asset management within large organisations or government.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions in service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports and provide advice to a range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of best practice approaches to infrastructure or asset management processes will be highly regarded
