About Our Centre

Busy Bees at Mermaid Waters is a 98-place centre providing a warm, secure, and engaging space for children to grow and flourish.

Our passionate team of educators is dedicated to giving every child the best start in life through high-quality care, strong relationships, and a love of learning.

Your Role as an Educator

In this role, you will:

  • Create safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate programs
  • Support each child's development and learning journey
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and frameworks

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
  • Valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (including Asthma & Anaphylaxis training)

Skills & Attributes:

  • Knowledge of child development and learning milestones
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to create and evaluate meaningful, play-based experiences
  • Respect for diversity and inclusive practices
  • Confidence using digital tools for planning and documentation (desirable)
