Hourly Rate: $33.00 – $ benefits (WT 4A.1 to 4.3)

About the Role

Busy Bees at Mermaid Waters is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional early learning experiences while guiding and mentoring a team of educators.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the educational program and daily operations of your room

  • Supporting and mentoring educators and trainees

  • Creating responsive and engaging environments for children

  • Building strong partnerships with families and communities

  • Ensuring compliance with the EYLF, NQF, and Busy Bees policies

What You'll Need

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)

  • Working with Children Check (Employee – QLD Blue Card)

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training

  • Proven experience in leading a room or mentoring others

  • Strong knowledge of curriculum planning and critical reflection
