About the Environmental & Regulatory Services
team
Our Environmental & Regulatory
Services team is the front line of Council's regulatory
activities and works hard at keeping our community safe.
We're a dynamic, multidisciplinary team made up of
compliance officers, technical specialists, disaster management
officers and administrative officers. Together, we oversee a
wide range of essential services, including the Animal Management
Centre, Local Laws compliance, Environmental Health, Regulated
Parking compliance, Building and Development compliance and
Disaster Management. We are a people-focused and purpose-driven

About the position
The Compliance Officer position
will work under general direction and be responsible for
investigating, monitoring, and enforcing Development Control,
Animal Management, Local Law and Regulated Parking legislation and
Council local laws.
Upon appointment this position will
permanently be assigned to the Regulated Parking Section. The
successful applicant may also be required, if operationally
necessary, to perform duties in other sections of the Environmental
and Regulatory Services branch, including: Animal Management,
Development Control, Local Law Compliance, and other sections of
the Environmental and Regulatory Services Branch.
