We're seeking a passionate Payroll / HR Admin Officer to join our P&C team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional eager to enhance efficiency and support broader HR functions.

  • Preparing and processing of end-to-end fortnightly payroll (for 300+ employees)

  • Manage pre-payroll setup and maintenance to ensure payroll data integrity.

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with awards, EBAs, and legislation.

  • Manage payroll payments and deductions, ensuring correct and timely disbursement to employees and external bodies (e.g., superannuation funds, ATO).

  • Complete post-payroll activities and generate reports, providing insights into payroll and workforce metrics.

  • Support Month and financial-year (EOFY) processes, including reconciliation, reporting, and distribution of payment summaries.

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and system updates are completed accurately and on time.

  • Coordinate apprenticeship progression and sign-ups, maintaining compliance with relevant agreements and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare and issue letters of offer, continuation letters, rate change letters, and progression letters as required.

Qualifications & experience:

  • Previous Payroll experience (3+ years desirable)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of Payroll Statutory compliance

  • Knowledge and processing of payroll tax

  • Experience in on-boarding and off-boarding of employees (Desireable)
