Liangs Group Pty Ltd – Pinewood Shopping Centre, VIC

Liangs Group is a well-established Chinese restaurant located in Pinewood Shopping Centre. We combine the best of Traditional Chinese and Western cuisines, offering customers affordable, high-quality meals in a modern and comfortable setting.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Chef
  • Location: Pinewood Shopping Centre, VIC
  • Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)
  • Salary Range: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum plus superannuation (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of Chinese and Western dishes in accordance with our menu and standards
  • Planning and organising daily kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation and stock management
  • Ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards before service
  • Monitoring and maintaining food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
  • Training, supervising, and coordinating junior kitchen staff as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time work experience as a Chef (experience in Chinese cuisine will be highly regarded)
  • Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate IV or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
