The Coffee Club Mount Isa is a large and well-established café-restaurant and is considered one of the leading hospitality venues in North West Queensland. We are home to Good Food, Great Service and Excellent Coffee with seating up to 150 guests at any one time and serving Breakfast & Lunch, 7 days per week.

As a Good Food Chef you will be responsible for the managing and cooking of a range of menu food items. You will need to be attentive to and meet all back of house operational standards to provide Good Food. Training and resources can be provided.

As a Good Food Chef you will be responsible for:

· A superior level of product standards to ensure the ultimate level of customer satisfaction;

· Display leadership skills and be able to motivate a kitchen team

· Plan menus and estimate food requirements in consultation with the Owners

· Assist in the training and development of back of house team members;

· Ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen is in alignment with Food Safety requirements and general hygiene practices;

· Preparation, replenishment & rotation of stock in the kitchen;

· Be able to effectively delegate

To be successful for the role:

· Cert IV as a minimum in Commercial Cookery is required and have at least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.

· Achieve Cost of Goods and Cost of Employment targets for your kitchen team
