About this Position
This isn't just another project. At PFD Foods, we're kicking off on one of our most important transformations yet and we're implementing Dayforce, our new Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. From Payroll to HR, L&D and beyond, this is about modernising the systems that support 3,000+ people nationally.
As Project Manager, you'll own the end-to-end delivery of this program: discovery, design, testing, deployment, and adoption. You'll be the connector between business leads, our SI partner, and the executive team to ensure the project runs on time, on budget, and with impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of our Dayforce HCM implementation from discovery to post-go-live support, keeping scope, budget, and timelines on track.
- Manage project governance, RAID, and reporting, ensuring transparent communication to the PMO and ELT.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, L&D, and Operations to gather requirements, align stakeholders, and challenge the status quo.
- Coordinate SI partners and vendors, holding them accountable for deliverables, testing, and cutover.
- Oversee data migration, integrations, SIT/UAT, deployment and ensuring payroll runs right the first time.
- Drive change management and adoption, working with L&D to prepare end-users, super-users, and leaders for success.
- And Champion safety, compliance, and best practice in all aspects of project delivery.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager leading end-to-end HCM/Payroll system implementations.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Strong command of governance, planning, testing, deployment, and vendor/SI partner management.
- Deep knowledge of Core HR and Payroll processes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and confident influencing senior leaders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams.
- A results-driven mindset, with the ability to deliver complex projects in fast-paced, multi-site environments.
Highly Desirable: Experience with Dayforce (or similar HCM platforms), Preceda, PageUp, and UKG integrations.
What Success Looks Like (12 Months)
- By 6-8 weeks (Discovery complete): Signed scope, roadmap, RACI, and SI plan in place, with clear business requirements mapped.
- By Build/Test: Data migration cycles delivered with 99.5% payroll-critical accuracy; integrations tested end-to-end with signed results.
- By Go-Live: Cutover executed to plan; payroll runs right first time; adoption targets achieved across training and utilisation.
- By post-go-live support/transition: Operations stabilised, BAU ownership transitioned, and benefits tracking underway.
