About the Role
As a Project Manager in Group Risk, you'll play a key role in driving the delivery of critical outcomes, with a particular emphasis on Non-Financial Risk (NFR) workstreams.
This role requires deep expertise in operational risk and risk management. Experience working on Enforceable Undertakings (EU) is highly desirable.

Work Hours: Full time, 40 hrs/week
As a Project Manager, you are accountable for:
Leading the end-to-end delivery of projects under the APRA EU program, with a focus on Non-Financial Risk initiativesTranslating regulatory requirements into executable workstreams that drive sustainable uplift in risk capabilityEnsuring project alignment with the bank's Risk Management Framework and regulatory expectationsEstablishing and maintain effective project governance, including detailed reporting, risk tracking and stakeholder engagementPartnering with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal and the business to ensure alignment and delivery of key milestonesPreparing high-quality reports and updates for Group executives, internal governance forums and APRACoordinating validation and sustainability assessments of NFR remediation initiatives.Acting as a risk delivery expert, contributing to ongoing improvements in the organisation's approach to operational and compliance risk What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Relevant experience in leading projects/programs in financial servicesProven track record delivering risk and regulatory initiatives (APRA, ASIC, etc.)Experience with APRA Enforceable Undertakings or similar regulatory programsStrong understanding of Risk Management Frameworks and the Three Lines of DefenceDeep expertise in operational, compliance, and non-financial riskExcellent stakeholder engagement skills, including senior execs and regulatorsAbility to navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, and meet tight deadlinesStrong communicator with experience drafting executive reports and regulatory submissionsYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
