The ANZ Finance team is a hard-working, close knit team across Sydney and London. We're supportive, collaborative and work as a team. We regularly meet in person in Sydney office for team meetings, training and social events.

Purpose of the Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for core financial control processes including ledger management, payroll admin, reconciliations and month end tasks. You will provide support across our Global regions through liaison with our Regional Financial Controllers in Australia and the UK. This role requires a flexible working style to accommodate global business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

• Accounts receivables management, with active collection of outstanding debtors
• Accounts payables management; invoice processing, payment runs and liaising with vendors
• Assistance and support with billing processes
• Support with global payroll administration and processes
• Oversight and reconciliation of employee expenses and company credit card expenses
• Bank reconciliations and online banking tasks
• Support with Radiologist pay process; ensure accurate records are kept, calculate payments and deal with Radiologist queries
• Posting journals and completing month-end tasks
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Support the Group's annual financial audit process
• Assistance with producing VAT returns and meeting other regulatory requirements
• Other ad-hoc duties when required

Essential Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a similar role.
• Part-qualified finance professional (desired)
• Bachelor or equivalent degree in Accounting & Finance (desired)
