About the Role

Seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support the finance team of our client's growing business. This role is hands-on and varied, covering accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, and business support. This role will play an important part in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, while also contributing to process improvements and supporting cross-functional teams.

Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider business, this role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and process invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and prepare payment runs
  • Maintain supplier/contractor records and support compliance requirements
  • Assist with month-end processing, reconciliations, and cashflow reporting
  • Respond to creditor and supplier enquiries, resolving discrepancies
  • Support teams with purchase orders, dockets, and financial documentation
  • Participate in finance meetings and cross-functional projects

What We're Looking For

  • Accounting/Finance qualification (or currently studying)
  • Previous experience in accounts payable/finance admin is an advantage
  • Strong Excel and MYOB skills
  • High attention to detail, organisation, and teamwork
