About the role:

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of assigned projects. The portfolio consists of "Brownfield" projects which deliver new operational capability to existing sites. Interact with all the other functional teams and stakeholders both on and off site to effectively manage the safe and timely completion of projects. Support the Asset Development team to complete the front-end studies and planning for development projects to ensure a high standard of planning and smooth transition to construction.

Key responsibilities:

• Daily project management of multiple projects throughout the development (Front End Loading) cycle.
• Develop and apply processes and practices that are aligned with best practice in Project Front End loading principles and minimise execution risks.
• Manage and coordinate the members of the project team to ensure work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the desired quality standards.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resources plans, and status reports.
• Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.

What will you bring?

• Previous experience in Gas Turbine power generation overhauls and Control system upgrades is highly sought after.
• Demonstrated capability in Development Projects and studies (Concept, Feasibility, Pre-feasibility etc.)
• Extensive generation project overhauls experience.
• Ability to travel to and work at sites, including Quarantine Power Station in Port Adelaide for extended periods (circa 10wks).
• Demonstrated cost management experience which may include SAP project cost management
• Well-developed leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Project Management or Project Controls qualifications and certifications (PMP, CPPM, AIPM, ACCE etc)
• Scheduling experience to a high level in Primavera, MS Project or equivalent scheduling package
