Elsy is looking for supportive, reliable and engaging Support Workers to become an integral part of our growing team.
Successful candidates will have the drive, passion, and proven ability to be a part of a team of professional Support Workers delivering high-quality care in an innovative home environment and supporting inclusive community activities.

- You strongly believe in promoting genuine Choice and Control for participants in every aspect of their life

- You understand and uphold the importance of confidentiality, privacy, and duty of care, always acting with integrity and professionalism
- You have EXPERIENCE supporting people with a disability, ideally within Supported Living, Community Access or Day Programs
- You're an excellent communicator and can build rapport easily with both participants and colleagues
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Knowledge of the NDIS
- 12 + months experience in a similar or relevant role
- Flexibility to work within a service that provides 24/7 care, this includes weekend work and sleepover shifts within a fortnightly roster
- Competent with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively and establish rapport with participants.
- Demonstrated commitment to the rights and interests of people with a disability
- Have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (must be obtained before starting)
- Driver's License and Comprehensive Car Insurance
DESIRABLE:
- Certificate III Qualification in Community Services, Disability, or related field
- Certificate IV in Mental Health
- Current Mental Health First Aid Certificate or willingness to complete
