Elsy is looking for supportive, reliable and engaging Support Workers to become an integral part of our growing team.

• You are committed to delivering high-quality supports that empower individuals to live their best lives
• You strongly believe in promoting genuine Choice and Control for participants in every aspect of their life
• You thrive in a collaborative team environment, where everyone pitches in and supports one another
• You understand and uphold the importance of confidentiality, privacy, and duty of care, always acting with integrity and professionalism
• You have EXPERIENCE supporting people with a disability, ideally within Supported Living, Community Access or Day Programs
• You're an excellent communicator and can build rapport easily with both participants and colleagues

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Knowledge of the NDIS
• 12 + months experience in a similar or relevant role
• Flexibility to work within a service that provides 24/7 care, this includes weekend work and sleepover shifts within a fortnightly roster
• Competent with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively and establish rapport with participants.
• Demonstrated commitment to the rights and interests of people with a disability
• Have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (must be obtained before starting)
• Driver's License and Comprehensive Car Insurance

DESIRABLE:

• Certificate III Qualification in Community Services, Disability, or related field
• Certificate IV in Mental Health
• Current Mental Health First Aid Certificate or willingness to complete
