LMS Administrator – Full-Time

Our goal is to foster a supportive and innovative learning environment for our students and staff. We are seeking a skilled and motivated LMS Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the LMS Manager at Greenwich College, the LMS Administrator will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the Learning Management System (Canvas).
- Administer learning resources and ensure their availability for Greenwich stakeholders and trainers.
- Prepare and coordinate the termly course set-up and online content in Canvas.
- Provide technical support to students and staff across all departments (Academic, Student Services, Admissions, and Marketing).
- Drive continuous improvement of the LMS to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Provide analytics and reports to key stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in LMS administration or an entry-level IT role.
- Experience in managing Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard).
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve user issues efficiently.
- Experience with course creation, content management, and user management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with tools and platforms that integrate with LMS, such as Zoom, Turnitin, content creation tools, and Student Information Systems (SIS).
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for LMS operations and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing system performance and user data.
- Experience with e-learning packages and SCORM compliance.
