We are seeking a reliable and motivated Heavy Vehicle Trades Assistant to support our mechanic in servicing, repair and maintenance of our heavy vehicle fleet, which includes trucks, trailers and related transport equipment. This hands on role involves assisting with workshop operations, basic mechanical tasks ensuring a safe, efficient and well organised work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist heavy vehicle mechanic with repairs and maintenance

Carry out basic servicing tasks such as oil changes, lubrication and filter replacements

Operate tools, machinery and workshop equipment.

Perform other general workshop duties as directed by trades people.

Flexible working hours can be discussed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in a mechanical workshop preferred.

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.

Current drivers licence ideal but not necessary

Strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Must have Australian work rights.
