Pipe Welders AND/OR Pipe Fitters

We have a great opportunity for experienced Pipe Welders and/or Pipe Fitters to join the team at a large company based in Brisbane working on complex mining skids and associated pipework.

This is a full-time role with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Duties Include -

• Pipe welding and/or fitting
• Pipe Fitter - Fit and fabricate pipe spools and pressure vessels
• Medium to Heavy Fabrication
• Pipe welder -  GTAW TIG root passes and FCAW flux core cap
• Correct welding processes of water and gas pipe work
• Interpreting Engineering Drawings

Requirements and Qualifications -

• Trade Qualification - Boilermaker/special class welder or relevant pipe welding certification
• STT system experience preferred
• Experience welding or fitting piping for water, oil and gas applications
• Pipe fitters required to pass tack test

Duration and Conditions -

• Hr Weeks
• Long term leading to permanent work
• $53-$56.00/hr + Penalties
• Located Rocklea
