Metal Biz Recyclers is one of the leading metal recycling companies in Qld with four branches across Brisbane. We are looking for experienced Diesel fitters to support our team based at Rocklea.

Qualifications and skills: -

• Previous experience in a Diesel Fitter role
• Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Mobile Plant trade qualifications
• Have experience working on Komatsu, Sannebogen, Hitachi, Caterpillar and Kobelco machines
• Have great technical knowledge and diagnostic ability, navigating complex technical issues in repair and maintenance services.
• Understanding of safe work practices
• Great work ethic

• Physically fit
• Be reliable, hardworking, and responsible
• High Risk Work Licence – desirable

Responsibilities: -

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel machinery and you will attend to breakdowns in the field
• Diagnose, service and repair various machinery.
• Communicate with other employees, technicians, and manufacturers
• Ordering parts from suppliers
• Maintaining the machinery, ensuring all the repairs are done on time.
• Perform other duties as requested
