About the role

Leongatha Health Hub is seeking a Podiatrist to join our thriving multi-disciplinary practice on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated podiatry professional to provide high-quality, personalised care to our patients in the local community. As our Podiatrist, you will work in our state-of-the-art facilities and collaborate with a team of allied health professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and fill a role that will enhance the services we offer.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive podiatric assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for patients
  2. Providing a wide range of podiatry services including preventative foot care, toenail treatments, orthotics fitting, and the management of acute and chronic foot and ankle conditions
  3. Educating patients on proper foot care and hygiene to promote long-term foot health
  4. Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care
  5. Maintaining detailed patient records and adhering to all relevant professional and clinical standards

What we're looking for

  1. A degree in Podiatry and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based podiatry services
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and other healthcare professionals
  4. A commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in podiatry
  5. A passion for providing exceptional patient-centred care and contributing to the overall success of the practice
