Do you want to be part of the action and work with a dynamic team that plays an integral role supporting the Mayor and Councillors?  We are seeking an Mayoral and Councillor Support Officer who has a positive approach and supportive mindset with a strong attention for detail.

Reporting to the Coordinator Governance, you will provide comprehensive administrative support with the key responsibilities of the role including:

  • Executive support to the Mayor and Councillors
  • Diary management in organising meetings and appointments
  • Processing correspondence on behalf of the Mayor
  • Preparing the Mayor for meetings and events
  • Organise travel arrangements
  • Process Councillor requests
  • Provide high level of customer service internally and externally

  • Relevant administration support experience
  • Experience highly regulated work environment
  • A high level of customer service and ability to establish strong relationships both internally and externally
  • The ability to work within competing deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and part of a small team
