Chandler Macleod is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a leading global technology company for a
Sales Associate
to join their team in Sydney. We're looking for someone with a background in retail, like from an Apple Store, who is a fantastic communicator and a proactive problem-solver. This is your chance to pivot your career and make an impact in the tech industry, helping customers discover innovative solutions.

This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension and offers a
hybrid work model
, allowing you to work from home for a couple of days each week.

The Role

As a Sales Associate, you'll be the bridge between our client's cutting-edge technology and their customers. You'll partner with account executives to understand customer needs, present solutions, and demonstrate the value of our client's offerings. Your passion for sales and your ability to build trust will be key to your success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strong communication skills, including objection handling and active listening.
  • Supporting customer engagements by building relationships and managing opportunities.
  • Collaborating with a talented team to ensure customers get the most out of the technology.
  • Traveling interstate as needed to meet with clients and support business needs (all travel expenses will be covered).

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is not just a great salesperson, but also a great partner.

  • You must be an
    Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • You must have a
    valid driver's license
    and be comfortable with interstate travel.
  • You have a background in sales, ideally from a retail environment, and a proven ability to engage with and understand customers.
  • You are a natural communicator with a strong sense of curiosity and an eagerness to learn about technology.
  • You thrive in a team environment and are driven to achieve goals.
