The Opportunity:
Our client is an international Maritime and Defense Technology company with facilities across the globe. They deliver technology solutions across all marine sectors including Merchant, Offshore, Subsea, Navel and Defense.
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to support our clients across Australian and worldwide. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our customers specifically within the Maritime Ports sector as well as identify potential new customers in the market.
You must be an Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position as you will need to be NV1 Cleared to go onto naval defence sites.
The Requirements:
- Have technical experience across Maritime, Naval Defence or Ports Industries. This role would suit ex-navy personnel, ship captains or marine engineers looking to change careers
- Oversee existing clients accounts including strategic planning, forecasting and negotiating contracts to maximize profit.
- Serve as a lead point of contact for assigned client account management matters including technical service delivery and new business opportunities
- The role will require travel across WA and Australia, as well as international travel for meetings, client site visits and training. 30% to 40% travel nationally and internationally. Also travel across WA at least once a month
- Ability to communicate, present and influence client key stakeholders at all levels including executive and C-level
- Excellent listening, problem solving, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Collaborate with our internal Customer Support and Sales teams to identify and grow opportunities
- This is not a KPI driven or hard-hitting sales position, it's more about building and nurturing long term client relationships. Keeping clients up to date with new products and services to drive growth
What's on Offer
- Base Salary range $120k - $140k + Super
- Hybrid working arrangements once you are trained and have established rapport with your colleagues and support staff you can work 3 days office based in Fremantle and 2 days WFH

- One paid RDO Day can be taken each month at a time to suit you, given you and extra 12 days leave per year
