The opportunity
Commercial Aquatics Australia (Vic) have an exciting opportunity to join our Construction team in the role of Project Coordinator in a full-time permanent capacity. Applicants with Project Coordination experience is essential and an Aquatic Industry background is desirable.
In the role of Project Coordinator, you will administer contracts and ensure projects run efficiently and smoothly across all phases of the project lifecycle, in line with contract requirements. You will work closely with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to coordinate activities, control project finances, and maintain accurate documentation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities include: -
- Oversee contracts and project programs, coordinating site activities to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Manage the procurement and negotiation of supplier and subcontract packages.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and correspondence in line with contract requirements.
- Control project finances, including invoicing, progress claims, variations, and reporting.
- Support estimating, procurement, and tendering activities.
- Complete projects with full handover documentation, including warranties, certificates, manuals, and as-constructed drawings.
To be successful in this role you will: -
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in Commercial Construction is essential.
- Understanding of Aquatic Construction is desirable however not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to engage with consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to Operational Health and Safety compliance.
- Strong initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving & decision-making.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities with high attention to detail.
- Hold a current Driver's License is essential.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one is essential.
- Construction Induction card or willingness to obtain one is essential.
