Melbourne Park is home to Australia's most iconic sporting and entertainment venues — including Rod Laver Arena, AAMI Park, and John Cain Arena — and hosts millions of visitors each year for world-class events like the Australian Open, as well as global music acts from Beyoncé to The Rolling Stones.
Following the completion of a $972 million redevelopment, Melbourne Park continues to invest in the future of the precinct — and we're looking for a Project Coordinator to help bring our next major project to life.
The Role
Joining Melbourne Park on a 12 month fixed term contract and Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of this milestone project whilst operating within a live, high-profile environment. The project will be managed within a very tight timeframe and will take the expertise of an exceptional project coordinator.
You'll be responsible for:

- Coordinating internal and external meetings — including agendas, minutes, and action tracking
- Preparing Project Steering Committee and Project Control Group packs
- Supporting stakeholder communication across diverse internal and external groups
- Helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with Melbourne Park's high standards
This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring close collaboration with teams across Capital Works, Asset Management, Facilities, Finance, Venues, and Operations. Your communication and prioritisation skills will be second to none.
About You
You'll thrive in a structured, fast-paced project environment where communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement are key. You're proactive, organised, and detail-oriented — someone who takes ownership, keeps things moving, and communicates clearly with all levels of the business, including the CEO.
Key skills and experience:
- Proven experience supporting projects in the built environment
- Strong coordination skills — able to manage schedules, reports, and meetings efficiently
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Demonstrated capability in project administration and records management
- Familiarity with complex or live operational precincts
- Tertiary qualifications in construction or project management
Why Join Melbourne Park
At Melbourne Park, you'll enjoy a supportive, inclusive workplace and a range of employee benefits, including:
